"The oak does not rush its growth. It does not compromise its roots. It stands longer than anything built around it."
Who We Are
Quercia — the Italian word for oak. Chosen for what the oak represents: depth of root, strength of structure, and the patience to build something that outlasts its maker. We are a luxury development company built on that principle, deliberate, uncompromising, and designed to endure.
Our pipeline extends beyond residential — into hospitality, social entertainment, and experiential leisure. Wherever we build, we build for legacy.
The Quercia Code
20 months from ground-breaking to handover. Maximum. High Performance Concrete, flying formwork, and contractual programme enforcement.
We never substitute our standards to protect profit. We build more efficiently — NEVER more cheaply. Every material, every contractor, every detail — reflects a single question: does this meet the Quercia standard?
The standard never drops, which is why we manage every building we develop.
Quality without continuity is just a sales pitch. Our promise is not just made at handover — it is a condition maintained indefinitely.
Quercia does not simply build. Our presence raises the quality of every address we occupy — the appearance, the upkeep, the experience of the space around us. We do not define the boundary of our responsibility at our fence line. The Quercia address is an elevated address.
Every off-plan sale protected by milestone-linked escrow at a tier-1 Nigerian bank. Your funds release only when we prove delivery.
The Gold Spine — a continuous champagne gold fin rising full height, blooming into a crown at the roofline. Lagos learns to recognise it.
Specified by name, guaranteed by contract. Premium and Luxury design standards — in every unit, without exception.
Architectural Signature
Every Quercia building carries one signature: a continuous champagne gold fin rising the full height of the primary facade. At the roofline, the spine expands into a cantilevered crown — visible from 500 metres across the Lagos skyline.
One element. Applied to every project. Forever. This is how brand equity compounds on a skyline.
The Architect's Brief
"A continuous champagne gold fin — full height, expanding into a cantilevered crown. The fin and crown are one element. Never designed separately."
"Built to a standard, held to it, every time."
— the Quercia promise

Our Identity
The Standard
Every Quercia specification is set before construction begins and held to the end. Interiors are developed with a Milan design partnership; fixtures and finishes are drawn from luxury manufacturers chosen for durability, not for the name on the box.
We bring a standard of finish to Lagos that previously required flying to other countries to find.
Luxury where it is touched, seen, or photographed.
Every surface a resident touches daily is finished to a luxury standard, specified under our Milan partnership. Final selections are confirmed at launch – by name, in writing.
Design Partnership
An international architecture and design firm founded in 1970, headquartered in Milan. Their Italian origins and international credibility make them the natural partner for Quercia's ambitions in Lagos.
"Interior concept by Il Prisma, Milan" — a statement no other Lagos developer can make.
Our Story
Who We Are
Quercia. A name chosen with the same care we bring to everything we build.
In Italian, it means oak — a tree that roots deeply, stands firmly, and outlasts everything built around it. That is our standard. Not just in what we build, but in how it endures long after we have delivered it.
Our work spans premium and luxury residential, hospitality, social entertainment, and experiential leisure. Built to last. Delivered without compromise.
"The quality of a building is not measured in its height, but in what remains when everything else has been forgotten."The Quercia Code

Meet the Founder
Founder & Managing Director
Ayodele Akinfolarin is the Founder and Managing Director of Quercia Developments, a luxury real estate development company.
His professional career was built in management consulting and financial advisory, where he led teams through complex, high-stakes programmes for public institutions and private companies — building the financial models, controls, and operating strategies that large organisations depend on to make decisions well. That work included financial modelling and planning on federal healthcare programmes running to hundreds of millions of dollars, and risk consulting: identifying institutional exposure, building controls, and leading organisations through audit. The discipline is the same one that governs a building. Understand what can fail, price it honestly, and put a control in place before it does. He realised early that the difference between a good outcome and a failed one is rarely the idea. It is the execution.
That conviction pushed him to build for himself. He founded and grew an investment company, moving from advising on other people's decisions to answering for his own — finding the opportunity, structuring it, carrying the outcome. Real estate is where it settled. A lifelong fascination with architecture, and with the physical act of building, found the one field where it could be practised rather than admired, and the two have not separated since. He later founded a real estate consultancy in Lagos, advising on acquisition, design, and delivery. It was there that the conviction behind Quercia formed — the realisation that the Lagos market does not lack ambition. It lacks delivery. Buildings that arrive on time, at the standard promised, with the buyer protected from the day they commit.
Quercia was built to close that gap, and every element of the company is engineered around it. A pre-agreed delivery ceiling written into contract rather than offered as an aspiration. Escrow protection that releases funds only against proven milestones. A specification standard that does not move once it has been set.
That standard is enforced by the team assembled around each project — an international design partnership on interiors, and in Lagos a Tier 1 delivery team spanning architecture, structural and geotechnical engineering, quantity surveying, legal counsel, and independent valuation. Every consultant is appointed on the same basis: proven, accountable, and answerable to the programme.
The Alto by Quercia is the first building to carry the name. It will not be the last.
"Everything we build is meant to outlast the people who built it. That is the only standard worth working to."Ayodele Akinfolarin
The Quercia Foundation
Outside the business, Ayodele founded and chairs the Quercia Foundation, which supports education, health, and welfare for underprivileged children in Nigeria.
